All About
Nanny Manda
For the last two decades, I’ve had the privilege of working as a nanny, newborn and early years specialist in England. Over the years, I’ve picked up countless tips and hacks that make family life smoother, happier, and a lot less stressful. I wanted to share my experience so I created Nanny Manda!
My ultimate goal is to give children a happy, unforgettable childhood while giving parents the tools to make that happen.
Early in my career, despite LOVING my job, I really struggled with managing behaviour and setting firm boundaries. Through experience, I learned how to communicate limits clearly and softly but enforce them with confidence.
Back then, I would loved to have an experienced mentor to guide me through those tough moments. Today, I want to be that person for you.
I bring a comprehensive set of qualifications and hands-on experience to support all your parenting needs. I am a qualified Early Years Teacher and Postnatal Care Practitioner with a deep interest in child psychology, behaviour management, sleep and potty training, and infant nutrition. Over the years, I have cared for children from newborn stage right up to early teens, as well as supporting expecting mothers during pregnancy. My hands-on background includes caring for twins and multiples, supporting children with special needs, and managing complex food intolerances and severe, and even life-threatening allergies (anaphylaxis).
With a holistic approach, I aim to create a balanced family life and bring calm to your family's everyday life.
Yours sincerely,
Amanda
